During your first visit we will meet with you and discuss your treatment plan and out of pocket expenses. Your insurance benefits (if applicable) will be discussed, and various payment options will be presented.

Dental insurance is different from medical insurance. It originated in the 1950's with a maximum equivalent to the cost of a brand new car ($1,000). Now, in the 21st Century, our brand new cars cost much more that $1,000, but the maximum for dental insurance has not changed although it has more fine print than ever before. There are deductibles to consider. Each procedure is given a percentage for which the insurance companies will pay, leaving you the difference. Once the maximum has been reached for the calendar year, all other expenses are out of your pocket. There are many other exceptions to consider. On your first visit we will provide you with your treatment plan and the expected amount your insurance will pay on your behalf, in addition to answering any questions you may have.
